Squeeze Spots The Difference With Bandit

08 February 2011 - 14:33 GMT

Since 1974, on and off, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, otherwise known as Squeeze, have rocked the world music scene.

For 36 years the band has delighted fans globally with their unique musical offerings. 2010 saw the well respected musicians reissue many of their classic hits under the title Spot the Difference, to challenge fans to notice the one tiny detail they changed in the newer versions.

For that very same reason Squeeze has again chosen Bandit Lites as their lighting vendor, as they can spot the difference between Bandit and other suppliers. Production manager Steve Martin and lighting designer Daniel Bocking worked with Bandit C.E. Lester Cobrin in 2010 to assure the quality of the lighting was the highest possible.

Bocking  chose VL 3000 spots, VL 3500 washes, Clay Paky Alpha Beam’s, Thomas Pixellines, PARs, 4 lights, 8 lights and the usual array of support equipment to paint the visual pictures that Squeeze vocalize about. Video screens in the rear take us on a fantastic voyage as Bocking crafts an impeccable show on a FPS Full Boar console speaking to a Catalyst Media System.

Fans were delighted each evening as the show unfolded and took them through a variety of hits including Cool for Cats, Up the Junction, Black Coffee in Bed and the unforgettable anthem Tempted.
