Void Acoustics Rides With Animal At Windfest 2010

Void Acoustics, designer and manufacturer of advanced professional audio systems for the installed and live sound markets, supplied the sound equipment to the international clothing retailer Animal for -UK's biggest free water sports and extreme sports festival – Windfest 2010.

The three day event –Animal Windfest 2010- returned to Dorset for its 12th consecutive year. Attracting over 10 000 visitors each year, Windfest always brings out the biggest names in the extreme sports industry with competition’s on water, land and in the air. 

The Void Acoustics custom-made Basys system was set up for the bike show on Sandbanks beach where the riders performed some of their best aerial tricks. The show mixed the incredible skill, control and balance of Former World Trials Champion Martyn Ashton with the spectacular aerial style of two of the world’s most exciting jump riders: Sam Pilgrim and Blake Samson. Blake said afterwards ‘Wow. What a weekend. We just felt the momentum building up from the Friday with every show and made it as a big as we could. The crowds were fantastic, Martyn and I felt that we had to give more back so put in some new tricks and they loved it.’

With the system adding to the atmosphere and pushing the riders to further extremes, Void Acoustics will be following the Animal Relentless Bike Tour across UK -The next stop will be in October at the much anticipated London Freeze Festival 2010 located in Battersea Power station where Void will be supplying a substantial system for the event.
