dBTechnologies Distributors Honoured At Awards Ceremony

Organised to applaud distributors' hard work for the brand over the past 12 months, the prize-giving celebrates tangible goals such as an increase in turnover, whilst also acknowledging overall endeavour and accomplishments.

Commended for the Highest Turnover Increase were Ghanaian distributor Virtual Sound and Live Nation from Finland. Two distributors received an Outstanding Rental/Installation Sales award: Swiss company MGM Audio and Asimetrik from Turkey; whilst in the pro audio section, Rep de Audio of Mexico and Australian CMI Music & Audio had awards bestowed upon them for Outstanding Pro Audio Sales.

Named as the Best Rep this year was Joris Vervecken in Benelux, who single-handedly ensured his territory was one of the highest achievers where dBTechnologies goes direct.

Receiving accolades from dBTechnologies in the Best Distributor category, were four nominees, all of whom have displayed phenomenal success in their respective territories in the face of harsh economic conditions. They were: China-based Sharp Dragon, which has seen a huge increase in brand recognition and turnover in the last 12 months; best Middle Eastern distributor Kish Pishgaman in Iran; Audiomusica in Chile, who after considerable success has recently taken over neighbouring Peruvian and Bolivian markets and the relatively new Canadian distributor, Intellimix.

Michael Herweg, Sales Director says: “Of course we are delighted with all of our distributors' efforts, and ensured everyone was taken care of throughout the Prosonic convention.” The event culminated in a big party on Saturday night, marking 10 years of the dBTechnologies German sales office. “I particularly enjoyed watching our reps and distributors celebrate on the dancefloor in the evening!” laughs Herweg.
