LITEC is pleased to announce the organization of a Trussing and Rigging seminar on 4-6th October 2010 at the premises in Mogliano Veneto, very close to Venice, in a fully equipped area.

In the last few years demand for hands-on training has increased considerably and LITEC has always tried to offer cutting-edge support services providing a more comprehensive working knowledge of the products.
The workshop will be held by Eric Porter, Experienced Independent Rigger and Trainer, Adviser and Committee Member for PLASA National Rigging Certificate.
The topics will cover Regulations and Risk Assessment, Standards and Guidance, Personal Fall Protection Systems for Working at Height, Ropes and Knots, Inspection and Records, Lifting Principles - basic science, angled loads, Truss Assembly and Slinging/Floating, Bridle Theory and Practical, Bridle Analysis (Load Calculations), Examples of Common Bad Practice, Secondary Suspensions and Rescue Plans, Chain Hoists, Rigging-Derigging-Slack Running, Flying.

LITEC will also offer a CM Certified training class on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th November 2010.
This two-day training session is ideal for anyone dealing with CM Lodestar products on a regular basis, both touring and in-house repair technicians. Class size is limited to fifteen participants to guarantee high-level quality of workshops.
Topics cover Electric and Mechanical parts, General Maintenance - brake, chain, contactors, limit switches, transformer, hooks - In-depth Troubleshooting, Complete teardown and inspection of a Prostar, 500 and new Lodestar, and Certification test.
The attendees will receive instruction by Dave Carmack, Entertainment Product trainer for Columbus McKinnon. Dave has mastered a long and deep experience in this sector teaching CM hoist schools all around the world.
