Le Mark Floors Fit For DanceWorks
07 July 2010 16.44 BST
York DanceWorks, a brand new singing, dancing and theatre school close to the York city centre, has been fitted out with Le Mark's Consor portable dance and performance floor.
People of all ages from three to 103 are enjoying expert tuition from well established dance professionals at the facility. The studio (nearly 2,000 square feet) boasts an all-round floor that's suitable for the full range and variety of dance styles that are being taught, from Ballet to Zumba; Ballroom to Street; and everything in between including Tap, Jazz and Modern.
"We had been looking for a floor to best suit our school for some time, as we offer such a wide variety of performances we needed a floor that could do it all. Overall we found Le Mark's Consor portable dance and performance floor to be incredibly durable, easy to roll out and very well priced. My personal thanks to Le Mark for the flexibility and patience in arranging the order and delivery, a great floor, and great service to match," said DanceWork's Sue Stead.
The quality floor is a fantastic asset that is absolutely brought to life with 50' of studio mirrors. Because of the open layout, and hard wearing floor cover, the floor space is easy to set up for shows. DanceWorks were delighted to host two sell-out shows in June in aid of “Help for Heroes”.
