Bernard Weaver, otherwise known as Bernie, has died aged 88 after a short illness and a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

The funeral was held in Greenford Middlesex on June 16 and was attended by many people who worked with him during his 60 plus year career with the Rank Organisation.

The stories of his work with stars around the world were legendary, from Sinatra to the Stones, Bassey to the Beach Boys and so many in between, and he would happily recall them time after time. He was a pioneer of live sound engineering and one of the 'greats' of the mysterious art, and will be very sadly missed by his friends, colleagues and family.
