Line 6, Inc., the industry leader in digital modeling technology for music-creation products, has announced an extension to its XD-series line of digital wireless microphone systems: XD-V30 and XD-V30L.

The XD-V30 digital wireless microphone system includes a handheld cardioid microphone transmitter; XD-V30L includes a beltpack transmitter and professional miniature condenser lavalier microphone. Both systems offer six channels, 100’ ranges, and low-profile desktop receivers.

Both XD-V30 and XD-V30L feature high-quality audio specs that do not degrade with distance. Users will receive full-quality audio (10 Hz – 20 kHz RF frequency response, >118 dB dynamic range, and 24-bit digital conversion) 10 feet from the receiver or at the outer reaches of the systems’ 100’ ranges.

XD-V30 takes advantage of Line 6’s leadership position in digital modeling technology. It features a high-quality microphone model inspired by the sound of the world’s leading live-sound microphone. This model provides a familiar sound to performers, audiences and FOH engineers.

XD-V30 and XD-V30L broadcast in the 2.4GHz band, which successfully avoids interference from high-powered sources. The 2.4GHz band also allows for licence-free use worldwide.

The systems feature internally mounted antennas to protect against breakage, road-worthy metal and polycarbonate chassis for constant use, and protective carrying cases for safe storage and transport.
