Gallien Krueger Sponsors Battle Of The Bands

Birmingham music promoters Totaly Different, sponsored by Gallien Krueger, put on the events where bands battled it out for the chance to record their winning single in the Blue 46 Studio.  Other prizes included a photo-shoot and online promotion. 

The final, held at the Actress and Bishop, was hosted by UK rap artist Sykes and Miss Jayla from Kic FM and compèred by town crier Dr When. Four bands competed in the final, judges consideration was given to radio appeal, live performance and future promise. The panel of judges included Alex Baker from Kerrang Radio and James Howell from Blue 46 Studio. The judges chose Wolverhampton five piece, Punk/Metal/Alternative band ‘Follow the Fallen’ as overall winners. 

On the night the bands put the Gallien Krueger product through its paces, products on stage included the new Gallien Krueger lightweight MB 500W GK bass head and the 410 RBH/4 cabinets with GK’s unique ‘Horn Bi-Amp’ System. The MB 500 boasts a substantial 500W output power in a tiny footprint and features a four-band active EQ and contour XLR output and was the ideal product to showcase the up and coming talent.
