Quays Conferencing To Hold Exclusive Tour Of Its UK Venues
04 May 2010 17.10 BST
Quays conferencing, the conferencing and events division of The Quays Partnership, is showcasing all its northern UK venues for its biggest ever tour, as part of its annual Agents Weekend Trip to the region’s historic waterfront.
Industry professionals (http://www.thequays.org.uk/business.php) will get to spend a weekend at The Quays and experience first hand the conferencing and events facilities. Parties and events will take place at Imperial War Museum North, The Lowry arts and entertainment venue, Lancashire County Cricket Club and Ramada Manchester Salford Quays.
The event is set to take place from Friday 11 – Sunday 13 June 2010.
The invitation will be open to the country’s leading venue finding agencies and applications (http://www.thequays.org.uk/quaysweekend.asp) will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
Matthew Jayne, spokesperson for Quays Conferencing commented: “Quays Conferencing is pulling together to create a terrific weekend to showcase our collective offer. We realise that time is tight for many successful businesses so giving them the chance to see four venues in ‘one go’ will be time well spent.
“Each of our members has extensive individual experience of Agent and Corporate Client Familiarisation Trips, the fact that each of our offers is so different means that we have all bases covered.”
Lancashire County Cricket Club currently offers a capacity of 1,000 (seated) or 1,000 (conference). Imperial War Museum North offers facilities of 100 (conference), 330 (dinner dance) and 700 (reception). Ramada Manchester Salford Quays offers a capacity of 200. The Lowry offers a capacity of 1,733 (conference), 300 (reception) and 280 (dinner).
