New FOH Barrier From Ra'alloy Ramps
22 February 2010 10.23 BST
Ra'alloy Ramps of Telford has introduced a new range of aluminium front of house barriers, Bigtop Barriers.
The fold away units are designed to assist both the health and safety of the audience and the crew. The barrier has a 100 diameter top rail, which helps prevent injury to the stomach when a member of the audience needs to be pulled over it in an emergency.
The step and the audience floor is manufactured from the company's all weather anti-slip floor, great for any English weather reliant event.
When folding away, the top rail lands outside of the base frame thus minimising finger traps. The ends of the diagonal braces do not land where there are other components, again
helping prevent injury.
Available in one metre and two metre straight sections, or angled at 22.5 degrees and 10 degrees for long sweeping bends. Gates suitable for people wheelchairs etc are also available.
Big-top Barriers conform to all necessary pop code requirements and carry a full structural analysis. The website shows a video detailing the user benefits of the new barrier: www.raalloyramps.com
