K&F NOMOS XLC

With the K&F NOMOS XLC, Kling & Freitag laid the foundation for a new subwoofer series in the ProRental sector. The cardioid 3x 18“ subwoofer with multifunction capabilities has been designed for high-performance applications. The range of applications goes from theatre and opera to disco, club, live show and big open air events.
Due to its innovating construction and its special design, the K&F NOMOS XLC fits excellently for sub-low applications or for the use as classical bass system. It combines an enormous and very clean reproduction of low range sounds with the appropriate punch. The bass reproduction of a very large range is well-balanced, rapid and precise and thus represents a new generation of subwoofers. From its acoustical and mechanical conception, the K&F NOMOS XLC has been designed extremely resonance-free and with a minimum group delay time.
The cardioid application permits an efficient easy working, due to the reduced disturbance sound and due to the directed bass shares of the front speakers. NOMOS XLC lowers on a wide range the rear sound pressure by -12dB to -24dB, without restraining performance and sound pattern. As a result, due to the strongly reduced rear sound towards the stage of the NOMOS XLC, it is possible to reduce considerably the level of the stage monitors.
For the NOMOS XLC, a high importance has been attached to an easy handling in the daily use, saving man-hours and time. Its low weight, compact dimensions complying with truck dimensions are contributing to a reduction of transport and logistic requirements.
The NOMOS XLC is started simply "plug & play" over the K&F SystemRack. The Break Out Box BOB-C permits to run simultaneously three NOMOS XLC with one K&F SystemRack.
Summing up, the described characteristics make of K&F NOMOS XLC a tool which is particularly musical, professional and economic, leaving space where it is really important: for the targeted and creative arrangement of acoustical impressions.
