Puretone Music now has a dedicated website for its music range of products, providing in-ear monitoring and noise protection for musicians, DJs and Music lovers across the UK.
Puretone has supplied in-ear monitoring and custom-made earpieces for a variety o high profile artists, such as Robbie Williams, Madonna, Take That and Status Quo. Francis Rossi, singer and guitarist with Status Quo, commented: "Puretone Micro Monitors not only protect our hearing, but allow us to do what we do best — putting 100% effort into our music."
With over 30 years' experience of crafting bespoke earpieces to the client's requirements, Puretone Music can offer a selection of in-ear monitors:
Micro Monitors: the top choice for professional musicians
Custom Micro Monitors by Puretone offer exceptional sound quality, response and reliability with the fit and comfort that only custom-molded earpieces can provide. Being anatomically moulded to the shape of the user's ear, these monitors help to eliminate feedback, lower onstage noise levels and reduce vocal fatigue.
Custom Micro Monitors not only allow you to hear with clarity and crispness, when used properly they help protect your hearing. Each pair provide approximately 25dB of ambient noise reduction.
Flex Monitors: one-piece, custom-made, in-ear monitors
Custom-made flex monitors are manufactured from soft flexible silicone material, to give excellent comfort over long durations. These monitors create an acoustic seal in the ear, effectively lowering noise and providing improved bass response, allowing the true sound of your instrument to be heard over the sound of the overall mix.
Flex Monitors are available in two different variations, a full concha (completely-in-the-ear), and an in-the-canal model, fitting deep into the ear canal, making them more discreet to use. The canal variation can also be used by motorcyclists, studio engineers and by TV presenters.
Universal Monitors: high quality monitors without an ear impression
Used by top touring professionals around the world, the incredible sound, clarity and punch of these universal monitors is amazing. Whether you are a musician getting ready for your next gig, a business traveller trying to get away from it all, or a enthusiast listening to your favourite song, the UM series lets you plug in and experience your music like never before.
UM-1 & UM-2 universal monitors are supplied with soft foam tips to ensure a comfortable generic fit to any ear, providing an in-ear monitoring solution without the need for custom ear impressions. They also provide up to 25dB of ambient noise reduction.
Personal Moulds: acrylic & silicone earmoulds for headphones
Aimed at the amateur or semi-pro musician, these custom-made moulds offer a cost-effective way of achieving professional results. Personal moulds are simply fitted over any driver of your choice, creating a seal which increases low frequency response and improves attenuation.
Available in acrylic or silicone material, in a wide range of colours, these earpieces are the ultimate personalisation for the serious music listener. Ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy music to the maximum, or the musician who wants a cost-effective, custom-made in-ear monitoring solution for the stage and studio.
Presenters' Moulds: silicone earmoulds for TV presenters
Here at Puretone we supply and manufacture a range of custom and standard earpieces designed for presenters. They utilse a tube to deliver sound from an audio receiver directly into the ear, and can features options that allow the sound level to be controlled by the user.
Presenters earmoulds allow the user to have sound inputted into their ear comfortably and discreetly. Puretone have supplied earmoulds for many famous presenters, including many for Sky News and BBC TV. Our range of earmoulds includes generic fit and custom-made devices.
Puretone Music also offers two types of noise protection earplugs:
Custom Earplugs
Being custom-made from an impression of your ear, these earplugs provide excellent noise reduction, whatever your needs or performing environment.
Many musicians don't wear noise protection while performing because it can reduce the experience and make it hard to hear the true sounds of your instrument. However, Elacin ER Earplugs, with their built-in filter, attenuate frequencies evenly, meaning the overall sound of the performance is maintained, but at a much safer level to suit the performer.
Non performers can also benefit from our range of solid noise plugs and PROTECThear earpieces, which are filtered to allow understanding of speech, while reducing other noises by approx 29dB.
Generic Earplugs
Ideal for giggoers, road crew and sound engineers, our range of generic noise protection provides effective noise reduction at an affordable cost, without the need for an ear impression.
ER-20 soft silicone noise plugs are a popular way to enjoy a noisy gig without losing the impact of the music. These plugs reduce the overall level of the sounds, while still maintaining the frequency levels, meaning bass and treble response is still similar to the sound produced.
Other effective methods of noise protection available include generic foam earplugs, a personal noise indicator with earplugs, and generic filtered noise plugs, EarGuards.
