Compulite's New Vector 3.17.R04 Software Released

Compulite’s new Vector 3.17.R04 software features mostly performance enhancements and fixes resolving issues on the GUI side. The version also contains usability enhancements.

Performance enhancements :

•    Improved redraw of views when "File Attachment" is visible in the Master PB Cue sheet

•    "Update dialog " opens faster for large show files on VxWorks  consoles

•    Faster "Graphic Time-line Editing"

•    Graphic Time-line Improvements - An improved Graphic Time-line which used to consume much of the CPU while running. Compulite has managed to reduce the amount by 2/3 of its previous capacity.

Bug fixes:

•   System settings are loaded correctly on Compulite mode in VxWorks Consoles

•   Enhancements to the Hippo v3 thumbnail integration

•   Highlight/lowlight palette fixes & Fixture cloning

New Features:

•   Load ASCII Show Files. You can now load ASCII show files directly to the Vector via the Vector "Open" menu.

Note: Show files are USITT Standard protocol (channel info, groups, patch, cue timing) in the USITT Standard Protocol only.

•    Generate Groups and Libs dialog. You now have the ability to decide what will be the Auto groups names.

•    Usability enhancements for the DESKTOP feature (see the FULL release highlights)

Among these enhancements:
o    Selecting multiple elements on the desktop is different when the Lock is on or off.

o    When the GUI is locked with the Lock Icon as well as the desktop, some editing options via the right click menu of the Desktop are disabled to avoid unwanted changes.

o    Compulite has made the Frame of the Desktop wider and more noticeable depending if you are in editing mode or not.

There are also new fixture devices.
