MilTec Restructures And Expands
Thursday 15th December - 11.35am
(UK) MilTec is undergoing a major re-structuring of its manufacturing and distribution operations.
The existing company, MilTec Ltd. will control the manufacturing and export businesses of the LEDHead and MT Pro Audio ranges of products. A new company, MT-Pro Ltd, will distribute these products within the UK and Ireland along with their existing ranges of conventional lighting and special effects. The changes will take effect from 3 January 2012.
Sales Director David Faulkes explained: “We have been increasing our export business over recent months and the time is now right to separate the business into two definable operations. This will enable us to improve our services to our existing and future customer around the world. We will now have better control of design, quality control, availability, export and service functions.
Continuity is very important so all existing sales, service and accounts staff will remain unchanged. Also, due to the increase in business both at home and overseas during the current year, we have increased our stockholding of our most popular products. We are doing our best to help our customers who are working to ever decreasing lead times.
During 2011 we have begun to export our LEDHead Lighting and MT Audio products. We are planning to increase this side of the business during 2012 and are now looking for distribution companies throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
As you will know it has been difficult for everybody over the last few years but we now have a range of products that are being accepted by companies who previously only bought high priced items from big-name manufacturers. They often struggled in the price sensitive marketplace but now they have access to professional products at competitive prices.
We are looking forward to a productive future for ourselves and for our customers.”
