Gallowglass Scores Event Industry Awards Hat Trick

The Event Awards, held in October, named Gallowglass Event Industry Supplier of the Year.  At the recent Eventia Awards Gallowglass collected the accolade of Planning and Logistics Supplier of the Year and at the UK Event Awards held on 30 November the title of Best Event Services Supplier 2011 went to  ... Gallowglass.

The company’s Managing Director Nick Grecian said: “This is really the ultimate triumph for us.  Over the last ten years we have been successful in receiving each of these awards, but this is the first time that we have pulled off all three in the same year.”

The company has consistently demonstrated efficiency and flexibility in handling a range of crewing jobs that has included constructing a 740-seat theatre as well as building the infrastructure for a series of roadshows, product launches and music festivals.

In a fiercely competitive marketplace where there is a tendency to cut corners when budgets are tight, Gallowglass has retained its reputation for work underpinned by a rigorous health and safety work ethic.

Added Grecian: “We’ve actually had a strong year all-round, and one that included a record August, in terms of volume of work and number of shifts crewed.  When you think that August is traditionally one of the quietest months, it’s particularly gratifying.  We must be doing something right!”
