E Media Design was in charge of the arrangement of the sound system and also of the dramaturgy of the show jumping and the dressage. More than 500 horses with 381 riders from 27 nations took part in this famous competition. With nearly 1.8 million Euro of prize money, the World Equestrian Festival is the most important equitation event of the world, attended by over 350,000 enthusiastic horse riding fans.

E Media Design, an internationally acting company directed by Günther Alberding, is ensuring the right sound and best comprehensibility of spoken parts. E Media Design belongs to the leaders in the field of equestrian events and has an experience of many years in the technical and dramaturgical realization of this kind of events.

Beside the German Classics, E Media Design is supervising top horse shows with very high requirements, attended by many VIP-visitors, as for example in Aachen, Amsterdam, St. Tropez, Cannes, Monte Carlo, Las Vegas (three times World Cup finale) and Lexington, Kentucky (Championship).

Regarding the choice of the sound systems, since more than 20 years E Media Design is mostly opting for Kling & Freitag products, which are approved by thousandfold application for language and music restitution, and which again and again are reaching the manifold high requirements. In the main stadium for more than 40.000 spectators were employed in total 14 LINE 212 in the Mercedes-Benz VIP tribune.
 
In the Deutsche-Bank-stadium where dressage was taking place, 12 CA 1201, 38 CA1215 and four SW 215E were installed temporarily. A particular feature was that all loudspeakers were separately controlled and delayed, for an optimal efficiency for the concert of the Aachener Symphoniker Orchestra taking place the first weekend. For this event, all loudspeakers are oriented according to the sound source. For the dressage the speakers are oriented straight towards the tribune places.

In case of fault, the decentralized sound conception permits the quick elimination of the problem without disturbance of the entire operation. The Fahrstadion stadium was equipped with a total of six CA106 and 24 CA 1001.

The contract for all three stadiums has now been renewed for a further three years, following seven years of successful cooperation.
